Today, the stool designed by Henri Massenet is a very famous design piece that can even be found in some museums. In the 1960s , Henri Massenet launched the trend of the design stool that will no longer be revisited since in different shapes, colors and even in varying sizes! 3/ CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DESIGN BAR STOOL

A bar stool does not quite fit the traditional definition of the stool. Originally, a stool was characterized by a seat resting on three or four feet, small in size and easy to carry. However, the evolution of the stool has led us to bar stools characterized by a size greater than 75cm that are positioned around a high table, a bar or even a central island. The latter are often immobile, that is, unlike traditional stools, they occupy a fixed place. To be comfortably installed, it is ideal to position a 75 cm high stool near a table of 110 to 115cm.

Moreover, for comfort, the design stools quickly have a backrest when they are used daily. Small folders covering only the lower back are also common because they allow you to store the stool high under the table after use while keeping the comfort of the back when sitting on it.
