Retro.

We use this word often undiscerningly ! However it has his own definition in the dictionary. The Larousse defines it this way: " a style, a fashion inspired by what was done in the first half of the twentieth century." And yes, the country house of our grandparents is typically retro!

1/ Difference between retro and vintage

As mentioned above, the retro style focuses primarily on the first half of the 2 th century. The vintage style refers to trends that are more than 2 years old. Indeed, retro is part of vintage but it is spread over a much more limited period. Now no more vocabulary mistakes when you show your new Formica chair to your friends!

2/ Arrange your home in retro style
The kitchen
